I am a postdoctoral researcher at Washington University in Saint Louis. Before moving to STL, I lived in Pittsburgh and studied physics and mechanical engineering. The focus of my research is on the development of novel optical neuroimaging systems.
I love doing projects, whether it be in my lab or in my spare time. Often they fall at the intersection of art and engineering. The purpose of this site is to document all my work in engineering, art, photography, and film, and to share it with anyone who is interested. I also hope it inspires others to think about creative thinking in science and engineering.
In addition to my projects, I am starting an "idea bubble" page for exploring thoughts in science, math, people, etc. The thought may be worked out in detail using data or images that are relevant. If you have an idea that you'd like to be analyzed or answered or illustrated, shoot me an email. I'd love to present it here!
Thanks for checking it out!
